St. Petersburg, Russia

Description:

The bridge along the Avenue of Glory in the city of St. Petersburg is a modern, worthy building that is worth visiting.

The bridge was thrown over the Duderhof Canal in the eighties of the last century. The bridge is located in the area of the Memorial Alley of Glory in Krasnoselsky and Kirovsky districts of St. Petersburg. The structure has a length of about sixty meters. The width of the bridge is “stretched” by about five meters.

The foundations of the crossing are made of monolithic reinforced concrete and ennobled with granite finish. The crossing in the area of the Memorial Walk of Fame is a unique construction. The bridge is quantum, designed for pedestrians. The bridge connects the pedestrian parts of the Avenue of Glory, so named in honor of the defenders of Leningrad in the Great Patriotic War. Nine hundred birches (by the number of days of the siege of Leningrad) are planted on the alley itself and there are sham fences from tanks.

You can get to the bridge from the Peterhof highway or from the Avenue of the People's Militia, hitting the Avenue of Glory itself.
