Robespierre Quay
Description:
Robespierre embankment, located in the city of St. Petersburg, had this name for many years. However, a few years ago it was returned to its original name, today it is again called Resurrection.
The embankment received its original name due to the Resurrection Church located nearby. The main architecture has been preserved since the nineteenth century. At first, the embankment of Robespierre was used as an unloading site and a warehouse of building materials. Against the background of other bright and memorable exhibits of the city of St. Petersburg, the embankment is a little lost, but there is still something to see. For example, a monument dedicated to the victims of political repression or the Coffee Museum is the only one in our country.
Popularity is gaining pier at the fourteenth house, located on the embankment, which serves pleasure boats.
