Monument to bread
Description:
On a granite pedestal with a height of 80 centimeters lie bakery products made of bronze. There are two versions of what I wanted to say with my work sculptures. One by one is the glorification of a loaf of black bread, 125 daily grams of which saved the lives of thousands of exhausted Leningrad blockaders. According to another version, it is no coincidence that the monument stands next to the bread shop of the Sestroretsk bakery: it seems to demonstrate the rich products of the bakery: rams, bagels, bartons. And if you look closely, from under the crust of bread you can see a small mouse - it lives tastily among flour abundance.
