Russia, St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, St. Italian, 4

Description:

On Italian Street, 4 your desires and dreams will be fulfilled by Ostap Bender himself, the main character of the novels by Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov “Twelve chairs” and “Golden calf”. The opening of the monument was timed to the centenary of the birthday of this literary character. The sculptor decided to immortalize not only the “great combinator”, but also the well-known Sergey Yursky, the actor who played the role of Ostap Bender in the film “Golden calf”. The most remarkable thing in the monument is that it fulfills the wishes of passers-by so that you are lucky in some adventure, you need to rub Ostap’s nose, and luck can be asked by sitting on a chair standing with an ideological fighter for banknotes.

To make a wish, it is best to get from the metro station "Nevsky Prospekt", then walk along the embankment of the Griboyedov Canal and to the Italian Bridge, turn right and your dreams come true.
