Singing fountain

During the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Kronstadt, the company "Yalta" opened five fountains in the most visited places. Today we will only talk about one of them. This is a musical fountain located near the Gostiny Dvor, in the square. The fountain is made in the form of a rectangular pool shaped with granite, the area of which is 22 * 10 meters. Inside the improvised pool there is a bowl, the contour of which resembles the architectural appearance of the Kronshlot Fort. Equipped with an acoustic system and light illumination, the fountain, working in a given rhythm, changes the water pattern. The system of electromagnetic valves in combination with a different range of jets reaching a height of up to 30 meters, allows dynamically and in accordance with the reproduced musical compositions, to change the pattern of the water picture. With the onset of dark time, the fountain is illuminated by colorful lights of system illumination, the effect of which makes this fountain composition even more impressive.
