Medicaid Avenue
Description:
The prospectus of doctors is located in the Petrograd district of St. Petersburg. It runs from the embankment of the Karpovka River to the Pharmacy Embankment. Until the 30s on the site of the avenue was a road, which was conditionally called Electrowelding Avenue. In October 1970, this site received the official name Prospekt Medikov. This name was chosen because of the location on the Pharmacy Island, where the head plant of medical equipment "Krasnogvardeets" is located.
