Holy Trinity Chapel was opened recently - in 2003. The opening of the chapel was timed to the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg.
The chapel was erected on the site of the Temple in honor of the Holy Trinity, to the creation of which Peter I himself had a hand. The architects of the chapel were A. Kitsul, A. Mikhalichev, and G. Rybakov.
Holy Trinity Chapel is located in the park at the intersection of Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt and Petrovsky Embankment. Not far from it is the Peter and Paul Fortress.
