Leningrad Zoo

Leningrad Zoo is a unique home of wildlife for more than 500 species of mammals, birds, fish and invertebrates from different parts of the world in the heart of St. Petersburg. This is an educational, environmental institution that gives anyone an opportunity to get acquainted with the biological diversity of the whole planet without leaving the city, expand their horizons in the field of biology, zoology, ecology and, of course, have an interesting and useful time!

The Leningrad Zoo is open to visitors all year round. In summer, most of the expositions are located in outdoor enclosures, and in winter, all the heat-loving animals are transferred to covered, heated rooms, where there is also visitor access.
