Museum-estate of N.K. Roerich

Izvara is an ancient Russian estate, which is associated with the childhood and youth of N.K. Roerich - the famous Russian artist. To this day, the lord's house of the XVIII century, several outbuildings of the XVIII - XIX centuries, an ancient park, as well as the Schoolhouse of the colony with a built-in church have been preserved. Currently, the museum-estate includes 9 buildings. In the manor house there is an exposition revealing the importance of Izvara in the life and work of N.K. Roerich. Among the exhibits are paintings by Nicholas Roerich, autographs by Nicholas Roerich, items of memorial furniture. Thematic and art exhibitions are held in the exhibition halls of the museum.
