Palace and Park Ensemble "Oranienbaum"
St. Petersburg, Lomonosov, Palace Avenue, 50
About the company:
The Lomonosov Palace and Park Ensemble (Oranienbaum) is the most valuable unique monument of Russian culture and art of the 18th century. Oranienbaum is the only suburb that was not destroyed by fascist invaders during the Great Patriotic War. Damaged, but not destroyed during the war, the palace-museums and parks of the city of Lomonosov preserved in all their authenticity and originality decorative decoration of the 18th century. The palace and park complex of Oranienbaum includes three ensembles. This is the ensemble of the Grand Palace, the Peterstadt ensemble and the Own Dacha ensemble with its main buildings - the Chinese Palace and the Catalan Hill pavilion. They clearly reflect the Baroque architecture of the early XVIII century and classicism of the 60-70s of the XVIII century.
