Today, the Borey Gallery is an elder among non-profit exhibition and creative centers of St. Petersburg.
Borei is the first of equals, who in the post-Soviet history of the city happily lived for a quarter of a century in the everyday sea of stormy changes.
More than 30 years of uninterrupted exhibitions, gatherings and concerts in Borea have rattled its beloved walls, but in May 2017 we began the reconstruction of the exhibition halls and completed our worldwide renovation. This repair was without exaggeration, worldwide: the funds for the reconstruction Borey collected the whole world, the fold. Many friends of Borea picked up the initiative and personally supported our adventurous idea to make a big repair without a hidden cup.
Thank you, friends! Repair completed, Borey enlightened, strengthened and rejuvenated! And yet we are a little sorry for the first, dilapidated Boreus: on its walls there were still holes traces of the very first commemorative hangings.
