Sanatorium "Children's dunes" in St. Petersburg

The State Budgetary Healthcare Institution "Children's Sanatorium - Rehabilitation Center "Children's Dunes" is located in the resort area of the Karelian Isthmus, 37 km from the center of St. Petersburg, operates year-round, in round-the-clock mode, bed capacity of 374 beds. Children from 4 to 15 years old are accepted for treatment with rheumatism, pathology of the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, ENT organs, respiratory organs and other concomitant diseases in accordance with the procedures for providing medical care at the stage of rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment.

All the buildings of the main base are connected by warm covered galleries, conditions are met for the reception of disabled groups of children with disabilities ( ramps, lifts, elevators). The territory was reconstructed and landscaped, summer covered pavilions were built (separately for each post). In the recreational zone, sports and playgrounds, a mini football field, terrencourses and paths for metered walking, a town with street simulators for exercise therapy classes were created.

For the department "Mother and Child" and young children, playgrounds with modular play complexes are equipped.

On the territory there are two wells with a depth of 180 meters, from which the mineral Cambrian water is taken. This is the only children's sanatorium in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, where there is a water mud hospital and local therapeutic mineral water and local therapeutic mud are used for treatment.

At the branch, major repairs were carried out in sleeping buildings, individual offices and services, the territory was landscaped, mud-water hospital, hardware physiotherapy, reflexology, physical therapy, psychotherapy function. Children from the branch are taken by bus to the pool of the main base.

At both sites there are ENT offices and laboratories.

The institution is currently a modern multi-module multifunctional rehabilitation center, where there are all conditions for medical, psychological and social rehabilitation, that is, comprehensive rehabilitation.
