1 Day.

Barnaul – Zmeinogorsk (340 km)

6:00 to 9:00. Meeting at the airport or railway station in Barnaul.

Welcome to the Altai. Acquaintance with Altai will begin with a tour of the capital of the Altai Territory - the city of Barnaul. Further moving to the small town of Zmeinogorsk, which was founded in the 18th century by Akinfiy Demidov and for many years was considered the center of mining. The city-museum under the open sky, a symbol of the ore wealth of Russia and outstanding technical achievements in the field of mechanization of mining. The first iron-rail road in Russia, grandiose hydraulic devices of the 18th century - we will learn about all this on an excursion to the Museum of the History of Mining Production. We will walk through the city center, where ancient stone buildings have been preserved and, of course, visit the remains of mines on the Snake Mountain.

2 Day.

Excursion to the village of Kolyvan to the Kolyvan stone-cutting plant named after I. I. Polzunov (6 hours)

After breakfast, we go on a unique excursion to the village of Kolyvan, where we will get acquainted with the history of stone carving in the Altai. We will visit the grinding and cutting factory founded in 1786, now the Kolyvan stone-cutting plant named after I. I. Polzunov. During the existence of stone-cutting in the Altai, local masters made many real works of art, decorating museums around the world. And the largest stone oval bowl – “Queen of Vases” is stored in the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. We will be able to walk through the workshops of the plant, where we will see with our own eyes how real masterpieces are created from jasper, porphyrite, quartzite and marble. Today, more than 100 craftsmen working at the factory continue to make stone products: vases, fountains, tables, monuments, boxes, writing instruments, as well as mosaic panels and icons. We will get acquainted with the history of the village and the plant in the Kolyvan museums of the history of stone carving in the Altai.

After lunch, we will stop at Lake White, where you can swim or just walk around its surroundings.

3 Day.

Zmeinogorsk – Soloneshnoye – Topolnoe (s/x Maralnik) (420 km.)

We'll be on the road today. On the way, we will stop at the relict lake Kolyvanskoye with clean running water, in which chilim water nut grows. The lake is famous for unusual rock-remainers along the banks, reminiscent of majestic castles, monumental columns, mythical characters and human faces. All this “game” of nature is a classic example of weathering granites. According to geologists, these formations were formed by the surf of the ancient sea. Further, bypassing the Charysh taiga, we get to the water area of the Anui River, where we stop for the night on the territory of the maral farm. Get acquainted with the farm, see marals, and you will also have the opportunity to take real pant baths.

Day 4.

Jeep excursion to the waterfalls on the river Shinok – Denisova cave (8 hours)

Today is the first active day. We will go on a car tour in the gorge of the Shinok River (translated as “precipitous, impregnable”), see a cascade of waterfalls: small – “Tender mirage”, medium – “Double jump” and the largest – “Giraffe”. On the way, we will stop for an excursion to Denisov Cave, where we will touch truly ancient history, a place of parking of primitive man.

5 days.

Poplar - Multita (230 km)

After breakfast, our way lies in the Uimon Valley, in the legendary country of Belovodye. Admiring the changing landscapes, we go towards the village of Ust-Kox. Hundreds of kilometers of mountain taiga on low ridges, an endless road winding up and down the passes, rare villages, pastures and mountain rivers. And suddenly the mountains part, and before us opens wide Uimon valley. In search of the legendary country Belovodye, many found their shelter here. On the way, we will visit the Museum of the famous scientist, traveler and artist Nicholas Roerich and the Museum of History and Culture of the Uimon Valley (Museum of Old Believers).

6 days.

Car excursion to the multita lakes (9 hours)

Today is an active day. We will have a cross-country car to climb to the high-mountain multita lakes of the highest in the Altai Katun ridge, where we will be able to drink crystal clear glacial water, and maybe even swim. We will walk to the moraine rampart between the Lower and Middle Lake, which is called "Noise", approach the glaciers and listen to the singing water rolls.

7 days.

Cartoon - Karakol (250 km)

We'll have breakfast and go. Today we will plunge into the atmosphere of the national culture of the indigenous population of Altai. We will get acquainted with the sacred places in the Karakol Valley and the Uch-Enmek natural park. We will see sacred places, mounds, steles, as well as try the national cuisine and discover the secrets of folk musical instruments, and the concert of masters of throat singing “Kai” will bring an unusual flavor to this meal.

Karakol - Aktash (170 km)

Today is an exciting day. We go to the legendary Chuysky tract - a road that is among the ten most beautiful roads in the world. We will visit the Chike-Taman Pass, Katun Terraces, Yaloman Fortress, the confluence of Chui and Katun, rock paintings (Petroglyphs), Katun and Chui Boms, Shirlak Waterfall, mysterious Geyser Lake and of course enjoy unforgettable landscapes of endless valleys, rivers and mountain ranges.

9 days.

Rest day. For those who wish additional excursions.

Rest day. There is an opportunity to relax and spend the day in leisurely walks around the village of Aktash. Well, for those who are waiting for new bright impressions, we offer an amazing geological and archaeological excursion to the "Valley of Mars" or a real high-altitude hike to the North Chui Ridge in the valley of the Aktra River with access to a large glacier and a unique "Blue Lake".

* When recruiting a group of 3 people for an additional fee, an excursion to the "Valley of Mars" is offered with a visit to the Mongolian goods market in the village of Kosh-Agach - 2500 rubles / person. 10 days.

Aktash - Ulagan - mouth of the Chulcha River (140 km.)

After breakfast, our way lies in the hard-to-reach and little-visited part of the Altai, in the mysterious Chulyshman Valley. The road passes through the Red Gate along the Ulagan Highlands, on which there are many small beautiful lakes: Taldukel, Sorulukel, Uzun-Kel, Chagakel, Balyktu-Kel, etc. Experts say that in this place the landscape resembles Scotland. Bypassing the Ulagan Pass and Ulagan S., we enter the valley with the Pazyryk Kurgans, the so-called valley of the Kings. Mounds are the graves of tribal or tribal leaders. They were built mainly in the VI-III centuries BC. We reach the Katu-Yaryk Pass. From the pass Katu-Yaryk dizzying serpentine down the road to the deep valley of Chulyshman - a walking walk on the descent from the pass (3.5 km, 2 hours, things in the car) will allow you to fully appreciate the grandeur of the opened valley. We reach the mouth of the Chulcha River, where we stay for the night. After lunch, we will make a four-hour excursion in the tract of Ak-Kurum to "Stone mushrooms". The so-called “stone mushrooms” are unusual relief forms formed as a result of selective washing out of heterogeneous rocks and weathering.

Walking tour to the waterfall Uchar (18 km, 9 hours.)

After an early breakfast, we swim by boat across the Chulyshman River and move along the right bank of the Chulcha River, where, 11 km from its mouth, the largest cascading waterfall of Altai “Uchar” is located, having a total fall height of more than 160 m and in large water, which is a grandiose sight. A huge mass of water at the speed of the train flies down, crashing on giant stones. There's water dust in the air. The noise is such that you can’t even hear the scream of a standing person. But most importantly, the unbridled power of nature will always be remembered.

It is not recommended to visit people suffering from cardiovascular diseases, having physical and mental diseases, suffering from fear of heights, having poor health on the day of hiking, injuries, etc.

12 days.

The mouth of the Chulcha River - Oz.Teletskoe - Artybash - KiT Manor (auto 50, boat 78 cars 180)

Today is a pleasant day to contemplate. Finally, we meet with one of the main attractions of Altai – Teletsky Lake. Not to visit the lake means not to see the Altai Mountains, so many of our tourists believe. We will make a sea voyage along the Teletskoye Lake from south to north. On the way - a visit to the waterfall "Corbu", located on the territory of the Altai reserve. In the village of Artybash, a bus is waiting for us and in three hours we will arrive at our KiT Estate.
