The video shows a bulk carrier loaded with forest passing the Winter Palace across raised spans of the Palace Bridge.

The Neva is a navigable river. We know for sure that it was part of the way from the Varangians to the Greeks. And now its fairway are ships and barges. But they go at night: first the movement is open towards the bay, and then towards Lake Ladoga.

The main port on the Neva River is the Big Port of St. Petersburg, it occupies several islands in the river delta and is the 3rd in terms of cargo turnover (59.3 million tons in 2019) in Russia. Here oil products, metals, forest cargoes, containers, coal, ore, chemical cargoes, scrap metal are transshipped.
