Fishing on the Neva

In the city, fishing is allowed float and bottom tackle, but spinning is not allowed.

You can catch different fish here: salaku, lamprey, poop, pike, perch, roach, yarsh, bream, perch, whitefish. But the most famous is smelt or net, although its catch is possible only during the spawning period (usually from April 20 to May 15).
