Museum of combat and labor feat 1941-1945.
About the company:
The museum was opened on May 6, 1995, its founder and first director was Alexey Mamayev. The museum building, designed by architects A. Kostin and R. Kananin, resembles the contours of the borders of Mordovia. The roof is stylized as a kokoshnik - the national women's headdress. For exterior decoration, granite slabs were used, laid out in stripes of black and orange colors - the colors of the St. George ribbon, a symbol of Russian valor.
Near the museum there is an open-air exposition of military equipment: a T-54 tank, infantry fighting vehicles, cannons, a howitzer and an M-1 anti-aircraft installation.
