The covered market is a market in the center of Saratov, built in 1916 according to the project of architect V. A. Lyukshin.
Vasily Lyukshin received an order for the construction of the building from the Saratov City Duma in 1907. Together with the representative of the Saratov Duma, Lukshin traveled to Odessa, Riga, St. Petersburg and Moscow, where he inspected the markets. It took three years. In 1911-1912, the building was designed. From 1914 to 1916, the Covered Market was built.
