sobornnaya Street, 22, Saratov
Description:
The mansion was built at the end of the XIX century by order of the famous merchant miller K.K. Reineke. He ordered the project from the famous Saratov architect F. Shekhtel. The master became famous for the design of the Yaroslavl station and the mansion of S.P. Ryabushinsky in Moscow, as well as the pavilion in Glasgow.
Shechtel built a luxurious mansion for the businessman in a modern style. The building is a two-storey building, which has several facades. In front of the main entrance, a multicolored panel was made, on which dancers are depicted. The drawing is based on the famous painting “Dancers” by the artist F. Stuk.
In general, everything in the mansion is thought out to the smallest detail. Very original cornice brackets, pink and purple inserts over the windows, ornate drain, stucco ornament and much more.
Today in the mansion of K.K. Reinecke is a hospital for war veterans.
