Sayan Art Gallery

The Sayan Art Gallery was opened on June 24, 1983. For a short time, the art museum of one of the cities of the Irkutsk region managed to acquire a solid collection. The fund of the museum contains more than 3000 paintings, drawings, objects of decorative and applied art. The Sayan Art Gallery presents the works of artists and sculptors of the CIS, whose work is included in the period 1928-1999.

Every year the museum organizes more than 30 exhibitions. In 2011, the Sayan Art Gallery for the first time took part in the All-Russian action “Night of Museums”.

The gallery is divided into several parts dedicated to theater, music, photo art, performances. The event included not only a meeting with traditional directions, but also an acquaintance with the culture of comics, computer graphics and animation.
