State Museum of the History of the Ust-Medveditsky Cossacks with the House-Museum of A.S. Serafimovich

In 1989, to the 400th anniversary of the village of Ust-Medveditsa, a museum complex was opened, which included the house-museum of Serafimovich. In the museum you can get acquainted with various household items of the Don Cossacks. Among them are genuine samples of weapons, tools, documents, paintings and photographs of the late XIX – early XX centuries. All exhibits are located in five spacious rooms of the museum and clearly demonstrate the original domestic flavor of Cossack life.
