Serdob Museum of Local History

Serdob Museum of Local Lore is a branch of the Penza State United Museum. It was founded in 1919 on the basis of the office of natural science of the real school. His first exhibits were botanical, zoological collections. Since 1985, the museum has become full-profile, and since 1988 it has become part of the United Museum. The exposition of the museum presents departments: nature, history of the pre-revolutionary period, the Soviet period and a hall dedicated to the life and work of N.V. Kuzmin. Among the exhibits of the museum, the greatest interest are collections of furniture, mechanical toys, paintings by A.V. Freiman, Sokol ceramics.
