Chapel of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God

Description:
The brick tent chapel of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God was built in 1904 according to the project of the city architect Sergey Germanovich Appelrot. The chapel was built in memory of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of peasants from serfdom, which was celebrated in 1901.
The building was renovated in 2003 with donations from local residents. The chapel is in good condition and still functioning.
