Chernyshevsky Street
ooh Chernyshevsky, Serpukhov, Moscow region, Russia
Description:
Chernyshevsky Street stretches for more than a kilometer along the right bank of the Nara River, on which Serpukhov stands. It is considered one of the main streets on this bank of the river and connects the city center with the periphery.
Since the street begins in the old, historical part of the city, several historically interesting buildings have survived. These include, for example, the building of the forge of the 18th century (referred to as monuments of federal significance), the Church of Nicholas the Wonderworker of the 18th century and the carved, very Russian temple of the Savior of the late 19th century.
