The exposition of the museum is located in the walls of the Trinity Cathedral - an architectural monument of the XVII - XIX centuries. The exhibition presents only authentic objects. The exposition of the Trinity Cathedral tells about the history of Serpukhov - an ancient Russian city, which is more than 650 years old, about the construction of monasteries on Serpukhov land, about the ensembles of Serpukhov noble estates and Posad churches, about the emergence and development of industry in Serpukhov in the XVIII - XIX centuries.

The Trinity Cathedral is a kind of center of the artistic life of the city. In the exhibition hall of the Trinity Cathedral, personal exhibitions of artists are regularly held, as well as exhibitions from the funds of the Serpukhov Historical and Art Museum. Active concert work is underway.
