Active tour to Crimea. The mountains of Sudak

Welcome to the sunny Crimea!
Crimea is good at any time of the year: in May it is already summer warm, green grass is underfoot, trees bloom around, and in autumn these places will pamper us with a comfortable, velvet season!
We will live in eastern Crimea, near the city of Sudak. Around towering majestic mountains: Eagle, Falcon, Rhinoceros. And very close - the purest Black Sea, near which you can admire magnificent sunrises every morning!
During the trip, we will take walks lightly around the city of Sudak and the village of New World. We will walk along the mountains, see the colorful bays of the New World, visit the Genoese fortress and the New World champagne factory, where we will definitely taste real Crimean champagne!

Day 1

Until 12:00 – gathering of the group in Simferopol. At the airport, a group meets near the entrance to the airport, at the railway station, a group gathering near the fountain.
14:00-14:30 - gathering of the group at the bus station in Sudak.

Transfer by bus to Sudak (2-2.5 hours). Settlement in a guest house.

Welcome to Sudak!
This is a wonderful city on the Black Sea coast, which boasts its comfortable climate and abundance of sun. From all sides, the Sudak valley is protected by mountains, there are many vineyards and plantations of crops for the manufacture of essential oils. The city of Sudak is one of the leading producers of vintage wines and rose oil in the Crimea.

Today we will walk along the embankment of Sudak and take a walk to Cape Alchak. This is the smallest cape in the Sudak valley, its height is only 152 m.
At Cape Alchak there is a very interesting place - Aeolian harp. It's a big, through hole in the rock. The grotto was named after the ancient Greek god Aeolus, the king of the winds. With a strong wind, the grotto begins to sing, and a sound resembling the sound of a harp is heard.
The active part of the route is 5.8 km, the height difference of 30-150 m, the duration of the route is 3-4 hours.

Day 2

The village of New World, Mount Rhinoceros, colorful bays and the Golitsyn trail.
Today will be an incredibly beautiful day!! In the morning we go to the village of New World. This is where the great 3+2 movie was shot.
Let's go to Rhino Mountain first. This mountain is often referred to as the Sleeping Girl or the Guard-both.
Climbing to the top, you understand why the mountain is called “guardian”: in good weather, you can see the entire coast from the extinct Kara-Dag volcano in the east to Ayu-Dag mountain on the southern coast of Crimea.
We will climb the Rhinoceros ear, walk through a huge, stone labyrinth, sit on the chair of Golitsyn, go down the ancient Taurian and monkey stairs and see from a height three bays of the New World!
We will also visit the ancient grottoes, enter the territory of the dark Hell and go to the bright Paradise, where there is a real natural refrigerator, the temperature in which is +5. +10C!
Then we go down to the hiking trail, which runs along three colorful bays. Landscapes here, as on the covers of magazines: emerald sea, snow-white yachts, magnificent rock Falcon. The ancient Greeks called this place “Paradise”. And on the way out of paradise there is a factory and a branded champagne shop "New World".

Day 3

Rock Falcon.
Rock Sokol is one of the largest coral reefs in the Crimea. Here you can see fossilized corals, relax in the shade of Pallas pine, walk through the unique grove of pyramidal juniper and drink delicious water from the spring of St. Anastasia.
Have you ever wanted to see Sudak from a bird’s eye view? Or maybe I wanted to go to a place where the breath is breathtaking from the beauty I saw? Or would you like to take a photo from a half-kilometer height of the Green New World Bay? All this we will bring to life during the excursion to the rock Falcon!

Day 4

Mount Percham.
Perchem (translated as “mane”) is the highest mountain in the vicinity of Sudak, 576 m above sea level. On one of the hills grows several trees, which tourists call "Perchema chick". From the unusual places of Perchem we will also see huge circles of stones and ruins of an ancient temple.
A marked trail will take us to the very top! From the observation points of Perchema there are magnificent views of the Sudak and Tokluk valleys, the village of Veseloye and the Genoese fortress.
The active part of the route: 10.5 km, the height difference of 40-576 m, the duration of the route is 6-7 hours.

Day 5

Cape Megan.

Cape Meganom is the largest in Eastern Crimea. It's not even a cape, it's a whole peninsula!
Here the crystal clear sea, azure coves and stunning landscapes. A walk on Megan is pleasant because almost the whole way passes along the coastline.
Ufologists claim that Meganom is a magnetic anomaly that attracts guests from distant planets. Yogis believe that Meganom is a place of power. That is why here you can see unusual drawings on the rocks, colored ribbons, circles of stones and the Temple of the Sun.

Day 6

The Echki-Dag mountain range.
Today we will look at Eastern Crimea from a new angle!
Our target is the Echki-Dag mountain range. This is an amazing place where dense forests, picturesque rocks, a wide steppe and the sea converge. In one day we will see all the diversity of the nature of Crimea.
Echki-Dag is made up of reef limestone and is therefore layered like a pie). The slopes of Echki-Dag love climbers, as well as cavers. It is here that there is a cave with an unusual name “Ear of the Earth”, which can only be accessed with special equipment. The entrance to the cave is hidden from prying eyes behind bushes of kizil and rosehip. Ancient legend says that the cave reaches the very heart of the Earth. It's like our planet wants to hear what's going on up here? "Ear of the Earth" is considered one of the places of power where cherished desires are fulfilled!

Day 7

Genoese fortress in Sudak.
In the city of Sudak is a beautifully preserved Genoese fortress. This is a unique monument, decoration of the city and its business card! Already from afar you can see high fortress walls with teeth, decorated with impregnable towers.
On the territory of the fortress we will visit the Consular Castle and the Maiden Tower. From here there are excellent views of the embankment of Sudak and the distant mountains of the New World!
Active part of the route: 6.7 km, duration of the tour 3 hours.

Eviction from the guest house.
Transfer by minibus to Simferopol.
14:00 – arrival at the bus station Sudak.
16:00-16:30 – Arrival at Simferopol airport.
Return tickets should be purchased for transport departing from Simferopol after 18:00.

Depending on weather conditions, physical condition of participants and other factors, excursion routes can be changed.

• Accommodation in Sudak in the guest house "Sevilla": double, triple rooms. In each room comfort (shower, toilet), TV, Wi-Fi. The guest house has a kitchen where tourists can do their own cooking.
• Two meals a day. Ready breakfasts (day 2-7) are served at the hotel on a comprehensive menu (the menu is not individual!), lunch - dry rations during the day in the mountains (day 2-6).
• Rental of group equipment: boilers, gas burners (for making tea for lunch in the mountains), group first aid kit.
