Smolensk in English. Excursion-lesson for learners of English
Description:
Learning a language is impossible without practice and immersion in the environment, but not everyone has the opportunity to go abroad. For those who have already learned the basics of English and want to raise their level, Mikhail Efimkin (a practicing translator and teacher) has developed a walk that will open Smolensk from a new angle. You will get acquainted with the history of the city, its secrets and legends. And, of course, pretty replenish the stock of words and expressions that can be used in lessons and to tell friends about Smolensk. On the tour you will answer questions of the guide and communicate with each other in English.

The walk will help you practice listening and speaking skills in English and is suitable for those who rely on a communicative approach to learning a foreign language (grade 5-7).
How the tour goes:
Part of each block of the tour is told in English, taking into account the preparedness of the audience, the communication of participants also takes place in English.
The competitive spirit of the tour can give a division of participants into teams that will receive points for the correct answers to questions. If desired, you can provide prizes for participants of the tour.
The walk takes place in the central part of the city within the pedestrian zone.

• 1-5 people - 8000 R.
• 6-10 people – 9000 R.
• 11-15 people – 10000 R.
Organizational details:
It's a walking tour. Duration: 2 hours. The route is 2 km long. Meeting place: at the monument to Tvardovsky and Terkin (Big Soviet 30/11). The end is at the sculpture of the Deer on Blonja (Glinka, 3).
