On the tour you will hear about the main milestones of the history of Smolensk: about the trade route of the Middle Ages “from the Varangians to the Greeks”, about the prosperity of the Smolensk principality in the XII century, about the invaders of the ever-border Smolensk lands, as well as about the legends and legends of the city and about modern Smolensk, which in the last century was called “the center of flax breeding in the USSR”, and now is called “the diamond capital of Russia”.
On the tour you will see the Smolensk fortress wall, built at the turn of the XVI and XVII centuries. It is claimed that it occupies the third place in the world in length, and also on it lies a terrible curse.
