Journey to the most creative estate of Talashkino-Flenovo

I invite you to visit the estate, which in the 19th century was called “Russian Athens”. Here you will feel the atmosphere of inspiration and creativity that attracted many outstanding people.

In the princely estate you will visit the amazing building "Teremok", a masterpiece of Russian architecture, built according to the project of the great artist S.V. Malyutin. Now in the fabulous house there is a unique museum of Russian painting and decorative and applied art. Here you will get acquainted with the products of Talashkin workshops, as well as watercolors by M. A. Vrubel, ceramics by N. K. Roerich, furniture made according to the sketches of S. V. Malyutin.

You will see an amazing, fantasy temple of the Spirit, the fruit of a unique creative union of geniuses! Above the entrance there is a magnificent mosaic “The Savior Not Made by Hands”, one of the best monumental creations, made by the famous artist and mystic philosopher N. K. Roerich.

You can visit the former agricultural school for peasant children, opened by Princess M.K. Tenisheva in 1894. Here you will sit at the desk, write a pen, feel like students of that era.
