Near the Smolensk Fortress Wall you will hear interesting facts about the mysterious personality of its architect, about the terrible curse that Boris Godunov imposed on the fortress and learn whether it is true that fierce battles were fought in the dungeons of the fortress.

In the Square of the Memory of Heroes before you come to life stories of the heroic past of Smolensk, stories about its valiant inhabitants, about heavy losses and great victories.

We will definitely visit the main "business card" of Smolensk - the Assumption Cathedral, striking in its splendor and storing 3 great shrines. I will show you the icon Odigitria, the patroness of Smolensk, before whom the Russian army prayed on the eve of the Battle of Borodino.
