During the tour you will see one of the most interesting sights of Smolensk - the fortress wall, which not only protected the ancient city, but also served as a real decoration for it, and it is not by chance that our wall, which runs along the picturesque hills and ravines, was called the "necklace of all Russia".
Together we will climb the best-preserved eastern section of the wall, which offers an extraordinary panorama of the city and the majestic Assumption Cathedral. You will learn about the history of the construction of the wall and the defense of the city from the Polish invaders in the early 17th century, as well as hear about the secrets and legends that shroud our necklace.
Our joint walk on the wall and surroundings will certainly be interesting for both adults and children!
