Talashkino - "Russian Athens"

During the tour you will visit an amazing corner of Smolensk region - the estate of Maria Klavdievna Tenisheva. Contemporaries called Talashkino “Russian Athens”, and its owner – “Pericle of Russian peasants”.

You will walk along the old alleys, see the fabulous Talashkinsky “Teremok”, the Church of the Holy Spirit with a unique mosaic of Nicholas Roerich, visit the agricultural school for peasant children.
