Estate of Smolenskaya Land (Talashkino, Novospasskoye)

During the tour you will visit an amazing corner of Smolensk region - the estate of Maria Klavdievna Tenisheva. Contemporaries called Talashkino "Russian Athens".

You will walk along the old alleys, see the fabulous Talashkinsky "Teremok", the Church of the Holy Spirit with a unique mosaic of Nicholas Roerich, visit the agricultural school for peasant children. M.K. Tenisheva wrote: "Talashkino became a whole special world, where at every step life was boiling, a nerve was beating, something was created, link after link was forged and tied, a complex chain."

Then you will go to the village of Novospasskoye - a place where the estate is amazingly beautiful and the only museum in the world of the great composer, author of the first Russian opera M.I. Glinka.

The composer spent his childhood years in Novospassky and always came to the family nest with joy. M.I. Glinka wrote: "Novospasskoye is the paradise of the earth." And you will have the opportunity to visit this fertile place, admire the ancient park, drink water from the holy spring and breathe clean balsamic air.
