The walk is dedicated to the “necklace of All Russia”, “beauty indelible” – the Smolensk fortress wall.
We will walk along the preserved eastern section of the fortress, where you will learn:
- Causes and prerequisites of grandiose construction;
- Features of the Smolensk fortress;
- What legends keep its towers;
- Construction technology;
- When there was a “baptism of battle” of the fortress;
- What happened to the stone necklace?
- And much more!
The thematic tour was defended in front of the certification committee. The tour is accompanied by an interesting, lively story and show, additional photographic materials.

The price includes:
The route runs along the best preserved eastern section of the Smolensk fortress wall. The plot is hilly, in steep slopes. At the end of the eastern part, the tour will continue along the north of the fortress and will end at the once main entrance tower - the Dnieper Gate.
You must have:
- comfortable shoes and clothes;
- water;
- headdress.
