My name is Irina and I am a professional historian and guide to one of the oldest cities in Russia. I also work as a researcher at the Historical Museum. I conduct a sightseeing tour not only to the main sights of Smolensk, but also included in the route an unconventional part for tourists - this is the eastern section of the fortress wall, which is the largest in length of all the preserved sites.

I'm offering you an interesting tour. From the Cathedral Mountain to go along the northern part of the fortress to the eastern. They will climb the hill to the Veseluha tower and walk along the entire eastern section (includes 9 towers with spines). The terrain is hilly, so you will need comfortable sports shoes. We will go to the city center and visit all the parks, squares and monuments of the city.
