Ahun, Agur Gorge

The journey begins with a visit to the highest point of the seaside part of the city – Mount Big Akhun. From here you can see the whole territory of Greater Sochi and even the Olympic Park. And if you use one of the observation binoculars located on the tower, you can see the smallest details of ships in the sea or houses in mountain villages.

Descending from Mount Akhun, we get to the Agur Gorge, at the bottom of which the Agura River flows. The water in the river is milky. And all this is due to the impurities of minerals that enter the water in the mountains. A real river of milk!

Here is the Vysotsky glade, where a small plaster monument to the beloved actor is installed.

Then the path will go along a landscaped picturesque trail, 2.5 km long. It is equipped with railings, ladders and bridges. Having passed several tens of meters forward along the bed of Agura, we will find ourselves at a small mysteriously dark reservoir surrounded by sheer rocks - this is the Devil's font.

After taking a few photos, we will move along the trail up into the mountains. Agura originates high in the mountains and forms several beautiful cascades of falling water. We'll reach the second and third falls.

Here you can swim in warm weather, try delicious Georgian wine in the restaurant "Caucasian Aul".

The mountain gorge, crystal clear waterfalls, sheer cliffs hanging over the trail and a fabulous forest will make an indelible impression on you and will not leave indifferent to the beauty of nature.
