Miracles and mysteries of the Red Polyana, or the unknown Rosa Khutor

Tourists who are on vacation in Sochi, and decided to visit Krasnaya Polyana as excursionists, in order to get acquainted with the Olympic objects of the mountain cluster, are offered mainly ordinary, standard routes. Developing my excursion route to these wonderful places, selecting unusual sightseeing objects, I decided to acquaint my dear guests with something unusual, non-standard. The center of attention will be the most famous, most popular and popular ski resort in Russia - the legendary Rosa Khutor. In addition to the highest observation deck in Sochi at a dizzying altitude of 2320 meters above sea level, to which tourists will climb on the gondola cable car in modern 8-seat cabins, for the same cost you can ride on the open cable car of the Wolf Rock, and go down to the so-called southern slope to the unique park of Mendelikha Falls, located at around 1470 meters. The Mendelikha Waterfall Park is a new ecological route at the Rosa Khutor ski resort.

Now the walks around the resort have become even more exciting. Along with other ecological routes of the Stone Pillar and Health Path, the Mendelikha Falls Park is the most memorable and absolutely special. The Mendelikha Waterfalls Park opened for visitors in the summer of 2017, so not everyone who has visited the resorts of the Red Polyana and the Rosa Khutor ski resort in particular managed to visit it. Conditions and cost of visiting the Mendelikha Waterfall Park is the only tourist trail in the resort for which some restrictions are imposed. The Edelweiss cable car and the Mendelikha Waterfall Park are located in the border zone of the Russian Federation, which entails some restrictions. For a walk on the cable car and a subsequent walk through the park of waterfalls, tourists must have an identity document (passport of the Russian Federation, birth certificate), before boarding the cable car you will be asked to present a passport, visiting these objects is prohibited to foreign citizens.

After a walk through the waterfalls park, climbing the Rose Peak mark by 2320 meters on the Edelweiss cable car, tourists have the opportunity to get to the mountain Olympic village on the gondola cable car, in the area of which in May 2019 the famous Rodelban attraction, which has no analogues in Russia, opened - a monorail railway on a natural mountain slope. Bright impressions are assured! There in the area of the Mountain Olympic Village there is an opportunity to have a tasty and inexpensive snack in the cafe "Berloga". Then, going down to the Rosa Valley, you can get acquainted with the resort, walk along the embankment and the famous bridges and visit the only museum of archeology in Sochi. On the way back, at the request of tourists, visit the mountain apiary with a tasting of rare varieties of Caucasian honey and the narzan spring of Chvizhepse (Bear Corner).
