Sochi will impress you not only with picturesque embankments, lush southern vegetation, sea and mountains, but also with an interesting history. I will tell you under what circumstances the city was formed, when it began to develop as a resort, what famous people visited it and what it is today.

And also share the advice of a local resident: where to walk in your free time, where it is tasty and pleasant to eat and where to go in the vicinity.

You will see all the main attractions of Sochi: the seaport, the Riviera amusement park, the Winter Theatre with a neoclassical colonnade and the ancient lighthouse that illuminates the way for sailors for more than a hundred years.
Walking along the popular pedestrian street Navoginskaya with palm trees and flowers, you will observe the local life.

Climb the observation tower Akhun, built in the 30s of the last century, and enjoy the views of Sochi and mountain valleys.
