Fountain of the Amur
Description:
The Amur Fountain is the center of the Sochi arboretum. Its creator is considered to be the founder of the park S.N. Khudenkov, according to his sketches, the construction was made.
The sculpture itself consists of two cupids that are drawn to the amphora of love that occupies most of the composition. Its base is a richly decorated pedestal, from which the jets of water fall. Next to the pedestal splashing fish, which also release splashes.
The fountain itself embodies the view of the life of S.N. Khudenkov, as he said: “Be thorough, wise, love, and your house will be a cup full of joy and happiness.”
