The Fountain of a Fairy Tale

Fountain "Fairy Tale" is truly considered one of the most beautiful water structures of the resort city. A building has been installed in the upper Arboretum Park.

The fountain was built in 1969 by sculptor V.F. Bogatyrev based on the work of A.S. Pushkin “The Tale of Tsar Saltan”. In the center of the building is a four-meter statue of the Swan Princess, which creates a fairy tale atmosphere.

But despite this, the fairy tale is called an architectural error, as it breaks the perspective of the Arboretum, occupying the entire area of the park. Visitors are forced to walk around the bush to view the fountain completely.
