Russian-Japanese Friendship Garden in Sochi

In Sochi, there is a very unusual and beautiful place – a garden of Russian-Japanese friendship. It is located right in the city center near the Resort Avenue just above the stop - "Hotel Sochi".

Construction and improvement of the Japanese-Russian Friendship Garden began in 1981. The author of this project was a talented landscape architect S.I. Venchagov. In a small area of just under 6 thousand square meters, he designed and with the help of the best Sochi gardeners created this Japanese corner. In 1986, the grand opening of the living monument of Russian-Japanese friendship took place.
