ooh Egorova, in front of the main entrance to the Riviera Park, Sochi, Russia
Description:
Anyone who has ever visited the Riviera Park in Sochi knows that it is impossible not to notice the majestic monument “The Feat for Life”, located to the left of the main entrance.
The memorial perpetuates the memory of the selfless feat of Sochi doctors of World War II, who often gave their own lives in the name of saving soldiers. It is considered to be the only monument of its kind in our country.
The monument was created by sculptor V. Ryabichev and architect Yu. Lvov at the burial place of fighters who died in hospitals. The sculptural group depicts a dying warrior and his doctors. A closed stele rises dramatically above the sculpture.
The monument “Deed for Life” is one of those that you need to see with your own eyes. Therefore, the Riviera Park is a must-visit for all residents and guests of Sochi. The sculpture is located in the Riviera Park in the depths of the city near the stops “Riviera Park” and “Sports”.
