Sculpture by Adam and Eve

Description:

In the lower part of the magnificent Sochi Arboretum is a monumental sculpture of Adam and Eve, installed in the 1970s. Popular rumor attributes its authorship to Zurab Tsereteli, but there is no evidence for this. Another version is that the author of the sculpture Merab Berdzenivshili, it looks more like the truth. In any case, the sculpture is made in a typical Georgian style, expressive, beautiful, touching. Tourists love to take pictures in front of them.

Next to the sculpture is a picturesque pond framed by bamboo thickets. There are many birds here, which are also interesting to watch - maraboos, pelicans, white and black swans. The aroma of roses growing nearby completes the romantic picture.

Sochi arboretum works daily. You can get to it by any shuttle taxi following the Resort Avenue, to the stop "Dendropark". You can walk from the Marine Station.
