Polycar Falls

Polycar’s waterfall is popularly known as “Pants”. Located just 12 meters from the Red glade and is a cascade height of 70 meters, which makes it the highest waterfall in Sochi.

The waterfall of Polykar occupies the first place in picturesqueness among the twenty waterfalls of the red glade, as it is located on the top of the Aibga ridge.

There are legends around the name. According to one version of Polikari – the name of the Greek who discovered the waterfall, according to another version – the name comes from the Greek “friends”. “Pants” it is called because at the top of the rock divides the stream into two jets and from afar the waterfall looks like two pants hanging from the mountains.

You can get to it on the cable car "Gorki City" or by arranging yourself a walk. But even if you choose the second option, you will need to ride the cable car to +960.
