Vorontsov caves are ancient karst caves, which once housed the site of an ancient man, and in secluded dead ends still find the bones of a cave bear.
The central cave - Vorontsovskaya - has a total length of almost 12 kilometers. One of the most beautiful halls of this cave, Chandelier, is filled with stalactites.
The cave is equipped with bridges and is well lit. However, walking without a guide is not recommended here. In addition, excursions are really interesting - you will be told about different types of rocks and their formations, show the most picturesque corners.
The cave is cool and humid, the temperature all year round +12 degrees. So dress accordingly and take care of comfortable shoes.
You can get to Vorontsovsky caves from the railway station Khosty by bus 127. It will take you to the village "Vorontsovka", from where about three kilometers on foot.
In your car you can drive almost to the caves.
Entrance to the caves is paid, you can arrange an excursion right at the entrance.
