Sochi

Russian-Japanese Friendship Garden

Description:

In the central part of Sochi, on the Sea lane there is a Russian-Japanese garden. It was laid down in 1981 by Sochi stylist S.I. Venchagov. Five years later, in 1986, the garden was opened to everyone. Venchagov tried to create a micro climate of Japan for residents and guests of Sochi, for this he planted bamboo, sakura, tuya, larch, padub and others. The area is small, but very well maintained. From the resort you will be met by a stone dragon and invited to enter the garden. In the center of the garden is a small pond with frogs. All paths are stone and winding along the thickets. The lighting is made in the form of stone lanterns. The main property of the park is a multi-tiered fanza, at night thanks to the lights it is very beautiful. A walk in the garden is certainly suitable for children who will feel as if in a fairy tale and adults will love it.
