Kissing Square

In the very center of old Sochi, opposite the building of the Marine Station, Potseluevsky Square is cozy. It got its romantic name thanks to the Sochi registry office located nearby. The date of foundation is considered 1988. The square was laid for the 150th anniversary of the foundation of Sochi. In honor of this event, an obelisk is installed in the center of the square - a stone anchor. From him in different directions diverge alleys drowning in age-old plane trees, Himalayan cedars and many palm trees. There are many fountains in the park - giving freshness to those who want to walk here and sit on dozens of benches comfortably located in the shade of trees.
