Phytophantasy Corner
Description:
Behind the building of the Winter Theater there is a mini arboretum - the corner of "Phytofantasia". The creator of the corner "Fitofantasia" is the legendary Sochi landscaper, landscape designer Sergey Ilyich Venchagov. It was he who decorated many parts of our city with his extraordinary works, became the creator of a special Sochi style of landscaping.
In his works he used Varangians, old utensils and dishes. The garden was laid in 1991 on an area of 1278 sq.m. They planted more than 400 species and forms of exotic plants. These are araucaria, agaves, sequoias, cypresses, tamarix and much more. There is also a small swimming pool with goldfish. Admission is always free, free. It is a pleasant place for family and romantic walks. For a photographer, this is the place!
You can get on any bus to the stop "Theater" and go to the Winter theater, turn left and see the door in the fence, the entrance to the park. 4a Black Sea Street. Mode of work: Pn-Pt 8-00-17:00.
