Solikamsk-Usolye

• In Solikamsk is the only Russian museum of wooden industrial architecture of the XIX century. In the muse, we will be dedicated to saltware and we will make personal amulets. We will be shown the technological chain of salt-making and we will plunge into the atmosphere of the XVII-XX centuries.
• We are waiting for lunch in one of the best cafes in the city next to the main architectural ensemble.
• After lunch excursion to the oldest building of Solikamsk XVII century. It combines civil and defensive purpose. The thickness of the walls in some places reaches 2 meters.
• At the end of the tour of Solikamsk we will visit the temple-"pearl" - the Epiphany Church. In the temple to this day preserved wooden, carved, four-tier iconostasis of the XVII century. Looking at this miracle is breathtaking. In the Epiphany Church there is a unique icon presented to Solikamsk by Ivan the Terrible in 1552.
• Then our way lies in the Ural Venice to the village of Usolye. “Usolye-grad is Petersburg’s brother” this proverb, known for a long time, can be found in almost every description of the north of the Perm region. In Usolye excursion to the Stroganov Chambers. And then a walk through the architectural ensemble of Usolya, which is surprisingly similar to St. Petersburg: the same combination of Russian Baroque in buildings of the XVIII century and classicism in buildings of the XIX century.
• And at the end of our journey, we will take a ride on Berezniki. Garden City, built during the period of industrialization. Wide avenues of the giant city, one of the largest centers of the chemical industry in Russia.
