Excursion "Amazing North" Prikamya

One of the most memorable and fascinating excursions in the Perm region, is at least two days. The duration of the tour depends on what set of attractions we want to see.

Along with the cultural and architectural sights of the northern towns of the Urals - Cherdyni, Solikamsk, Usolya, Nyroba, the region is rich in landscape monuments of nature - the great Polyudov stone, the handsome hero - Vetlan, an amazing Talking Stone, a mysterious Mentioned Stone, and in green mighty pine forests - white moss cover the earth like a snow carpet.

Day 1: Leaving G. Perm in the early morning, go to Cherdyn - the ancient capital of Perm the Great, the oldest city of the Urals, a modest northern beauty.

On a sightseeing tour of the city: we will see the Kolva River from the Vyatka Hill, a wooden Temple from the village of Bigichi, the Chapel of 55-killed warriors, Ioanno - Theological Church - the oldest in the Urals, the first male monastery; feel the atmosphere of the merchant city; visit the Cherdyn Museum of Local History; climb the bell tower of the Resurrection Cathedral.

Further, if desired, we can visit the city of Nyrob, with the well-known "Romanovo pit". On the way on the banks of the sprawling rivers there will be a lot of old ancient villages with preserved temples (somewhere dilapidated) Iskor, Pokcha, Vilgort, Kamgort.

Day 2: Walking through Solikamsk, the ancient salt capital of the Urals, we will be amazed at the many beautiful churches standing as an “archipelago” in the center of the city; we will find the Lyudmila well with salt water, visit the real salt museum and the Voivode’s House with an underground passage.

And again on the road, we are waiting for Usolye - "Ural Venice", Stroganov patrimony. Examining the architectural ensemble on the main square, we will visit a unique museum - "Chambers of the Strogonovs". By the way we inspect the city of Berezniki, and by the evening of the second day, tired but satisfied, we will be in Perm.

Believe me, the emotions of the North of the Kama region will overflow your soul for a long time, and you will want to return here again, well, at least once again, or at another time of the year!
