About the company:
Ah. The block came to the Shakhmatovo estate for 36 years (41 of the incomplete lived). Many famous works of A. Blok were created here. In 1910, the poet on his own project rebuilt the main manor house. In 1921, the estate died.
Since 1970, the All-Russian Poetry Festivals began to take place on the Block’s “beloved glade”. In 1984, a museum was established. Currently, the main house, wing, carriage shed has been recreated in Shakhmatov. The garden and park are being rebuilt. The museum funds allowed to create exhibitions and expositions dedicated to the poet and members of his family, the Silver Age of Russian culture. The main mission of the museum is Shakhmatovo - "the corner of paradise near Moscow ...", a unique historical and cultural landscape illuminated by the genius of the Russian poet.
